Amber is "naughty by nature"

I cannot decide whether i love or loathe Amber Rose.

I happen to loathe the fact that the whole world seems to refer to her as "Kanyes Girlfriend". C'mon people... The woman is her own woman. She is an individual, she has her own hopes and aspiration...so just refer to her as Amber Rose. Or the Superhero. (Thank you ELLE)

However, the spread she has done in ELLE Magazine (as much as i absolutely LOVE ELLE) is just silly. Kanye styles his muse in skintight,tiny little ensembles that leave little to the imagination. So much for hidden sex. Amber is being deprived of her actualy sexiness...that coverd up, amazing allure she has when wearing a catsuit. I love Amber covered up, inviting the imagination what lies beneath. I loathe Amber naked, bare, left alone.

H&M Goes haute Couture

Not too sure what to think of this...

Recently spotted: H&M creating a luxury line of dresses and jackets.

Kind of defys the whole philosophy of H&M, doesnt it? What happenend to being there for even the smallest budget? Someone should overthink their businessplan...

I in any case will not be supporting this venture of H&M! Will anyone be buying?

Hello Trendsetters!

Are we loving or hating the new studded trend?

Fact is, studds look great on shoes, bags and bracelets-but where to draw the line?

I for one saw a studded leather mini-jacket at H&M today (they brought out an "exclusive line", more on that soon) and i have to say: too punk pour moi! That jacket is great on people like Rhianna (then again, ANYTHING is hot on her) but for all of us lower lifeforms its simply too...(you may fill in the blank)

HOWEVER: i am loooooving studded shoes!! First seen at the great Christian Louboutin, these studded beauties are now invading more accecible stores like Zara and H&M. I personally love my Zara studded flats from last fall :)

Whats more, H&M has a few AMAZING bracelets-studded juust right to give you that fabulous roch n rolla edge :)

Stop Female Mutilation

This is a topic very dear to my heart!

We should stand united to face Female Mutilation. It is a sad fact that women and children all over the world are being mutilated-even in Europe. What is worse, women who themselevs have ahd to suffer this ritual are now doing it to their children! Join UNICEF in their fight to END FEMALE MUTILATION!!!

Someone explain to me when wearing tights as pants became acceptable?!? I am a huge lover of leggins- AS LONG AS YOU WAER SOMETHING COVERING YOUR BUTT!!

Nobody, i repeat, nobody should need to see you butt crack, spottet underwear or red thong in the broad daylight-except in the comfort of you own home.

I am sick and tired of seeing 14-year-olds wearing tights as pants or leggins with skimpy little, suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuper tight tops as "skirts". Dear 14-year-olds (and everyone else who feels this is "hot"): it is not. it looks cheap, unsexy and simply YUCK!!!

Trade those skanky tights for a pair of jeans and grow up!

Make it up

With the great Fall Fashion comes the great Fall depression. Yes, i intended on rhyming right here...

Gone are the days of wonderfully tanned faces, of sun and beach bleached hair and of bikini bods. Hello Fall. To whip you out of that great big hole pamper yourself!!! I am a huuuuge believer in Spa Treatments, Hairdressers or make up artists as a way to make you feel like your old new self.

If you feel like you need a new trend on your face: hit the counters of your departmentstore make up section. They'll gladly try a new look on you. Make sure you make an appointment though-always be polite :)

Hit the hairdresser!! Ive just got my locks chopped off (yes 10 cm gooooooone) because of the summer heat, the salty water and all those not so fun pluses of spending ones summer abroad. Get a new do, a new colour-Treat yourself!!!

Love who you are by making yourself into what you love.

Faking it

Fall has it the shores and brought with it a gorgeous collection of fall fashion!

My current favourite is the vast collection of fake and real furs, all inviting one to snuggle and snooze in some mountain lodge in Utah.

Despite their wonderful feel and the unique sexiness, there are a couple of things to be mentioned:

I love my fake fur with a pair of skinny jeans and a black Turtleneck or Longsleeve shirt. As fur (real of faux) tends to slap on the kilos due top its fuzziness, opt for slim, fitting fabrics to avoid looking like the Michelin Man.

Pairing Fur and leather is racy-dont do it at work. Keep your leather leggins and fur vests for hitting the after work cocktailhour or your fave club.

Dont over accessorize! I love my chains, rings, pearls etc, but a fur piece is such a stunner on its own, laying on the gems will only be distracting. Give the fur its stage.
