Stop Female Mutilation

This is a topic very dear to my heart!

We should stand united to face Female Mutilation. It is a sad fact that women and children all over the world are being mutilated-even in Europe. What is worse, women who themselevs have ahd to suffer this ritual are now doing it to their children! Join UNICEF in their fight to END FEMALE MUTILATION!!!

"Jährlich werden rund 3 Millionen Mädchen genital beschnitten. Immer mehr auch Mädchen und Frauen in Europa. Mit einer landesweiten Kam- pagne, die vom 6. Februar bis am 8. März stattfindet, leiht UNICEF Schweiz den betroffenen Mädchen eine Stimme. An der internationalen Fachtagung vom Februar werden Expertinnen und Experten Erfahrun- gen austauschen und gemeinsam Handlungsansätze für Europa diskutieren."
